Contest: Help Fishy, Win Loot

Hello all! I would like you to meet Hillary Fisher and Ryan Cramer. Hillary is one of my good friends from college who married my fraternity brother Ryan Cramer. They were married almost 5 months ago, but have unfortunately spent most of these months in the hospital. Sadly, Hillary has Cystic Fibrosis and is now in need of a new lung. Now, having to move closer to the hospital and away from her husband, many of her friends have come together to help raise funds to help cover the transplant costs, which are close to $1.9 million. (Full description of their situation can be seen on the donation page)

This is where you all come in. I am reaching out to all of the Gamers In Beta out there, and asking you all to help if you can. Any amount you can spare would be a huge help to these wonderful people. However, I’m also putting on this contest to sponser a bit of a “Give and you Get” incentive. To anyone who donates $25 dollars or more, you will be entered into a drawing to win your own Loot Chest, customized for you! This will include a few T-shirts, a $25 gift card for your preferred system (XBL, PSN, or Steam), and perhaps a few extra goodies…

All you have to do is click this link to the “Fishy Needs a Lung” Give Forward page and follow the steps to donate. So I can know who is entering, please include “Gamers In Beta” and your “@Example” Twitter handle in the comment section that appears with your donation on the Give Forward page. Also, I ask that you do not make your donation amount as “Anonymous”, so I know who is donating the appropriate amount for entry.  This will allow me to track entries and have a contact point to get your address/information when you win! I understand that some people do not have extra funds to spare, and that is more than alright. I’m setting this up so those who can may have a bit more incentive to help out some of the most friendly, caring, and all around good people I have met. I have never asked anything of all you In Beta (apart from putting up with my tangents on Warcraft, League of Legends, and Starcraft), but this would mean a lot to me if you could help out. Thank you all, and if you have questions, comments, thoughts, etc.; please feel free to ask me on Twitter, @Kailon791.
